The Blessing Of A Simple Life

In the industrialized world, many of us spend our precious time trying to accumulate ever more financial assets.

Our reward may be those assets, but most likely, much to our frustration, we will attain only a fraction of what we pursued. And then like magic, our overhead rises and so does our desire for more wealth.

But life is a blessing, a profound gift given to each of us for only a brief time. Is the pursuit of material wealth really how we want to use that profound gift?

Instead, having enough to meet our own needs and enough to donate to charity to help others in need might be a far better course.

Why?

Because that will guide us down the path to inner peace, and it is inner peace and personal growth that we all came into this life to attain, not the accumulation of assets that will be left behind at the time of our passing.
